Paul

The French was just to aggravate you, and I know how much you hate incongruities.

PythonMagus

OK. So I see the Filipino and the Greek/Russian connection. Where do the French fit in?

Paul

Heneral Luna is actually the online and social media non de plume of a real person. The real person is a Filipino computer geek who works in a newly established Australian business in Manila. This person's real name is ... Demetri.

PythonMagus

I see now why I do not get it. You left out an "A" in your acronym.

Printed tee shirt - $30. Printed tee shirt with typo - Priceless.

PythonMagus

Heneral Luna is not French. He is a Filipino patriot who fought against the US invasion (actually a war of religious liberation in their lexicon) of the Philippines 100 years ago.

Paul

Yes, who dares wins.

FSAABITB = French Soldiers Always Accumulate A Bullet In Their Back. (ie they run away, like your general).

PythonMagus

WDW = Who Dares Wins?
FSAASITB = F? s? as a s? in the b?

PythonMagus

Hey! This is the first game I have not lost a general in yet. I'm happy!

Paul

Discretion is the better part of valour. I prefer WDW or FSAASITB.

PythonMagus

Put "DITBPOV" is small font at the bottom of the design.

Paul

T-shirt design coming along nicely.

PythonMagus

Ask me when the last neutral goes down - then the Maths can be done, but I back the liberation of Jerusalem. I have to; it is part of the rhetoric for how we play.

Thygocanberra

but who shall win the war?

PythonMagus

Brave Sir Robin ran away
(No!)
Bravely ran away away
(I didn't!)
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled
(No!)
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
(I didn't!)
And gallantly he chickened out

Bravely taking to his feet
(I never did!)
He beat a very brave retreat
(All lies!)
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!
(I never!)
