I did a quick google earlier too - in some places they are called Lousy Jacks.

I have found out that the birds are called Apostlebirds (because they always move the groups).

Echidnas are very cute. It looks like a big one.

They have amazing grip with those claws. Louisa and I really had to try hard to pry one off the highway somwhere near Boorowa some years ago (soe he didn't get squashed).
