My dear friend worries about New Scientist as it regularly reports on science which suggests truths different to his world view. This week has an intriguing article on what might replace the nation state. As part of their analysis, they created this clever Youtube. You have to watch it a few times looking at different parts. It suggests that areas remain static for quite a few hundred years before changing radically in one frame.
Later on they have a diagram showing a potential future look for Europe. I have not found the origin of this, but Spain looks like a loser.
I worry about New Scientist because it presents junk masquerading as science. It has a dubious reputation, especially in physics. More sugar for the dumbed down masses.
