Paul and I have agreed to the following:
- Each will write no more than one climate change blog article per calendar month,
- Each agrees to only make no more than one reference to climate change in our other blogs. These other articles will not include charts showing climate, temperatures, green house gas emissions or ice cores
- Politicians remain fair game for any foolishish they choose to undertake/speak, but only one remark in our attack may reference climate change
- Blogs to date are exempt except that they could towards the one blog for the month of July 2014
- ThygoCanberra will unrelently attack whoever breaks this promise, and post more pictures of spiders, ducks and moons.
Galileo's portrait is just an obscure reference to an apocryphal event.

I'm not sure where Galileo fits in here. I presume as a model for climate sceptics against the dominant and erroneous orthodoxy.

Entirely correct. And the same rules apply to comments.
