Lots of bees and some other insects taking pollen/nectar from one of our trees.
Hover fly, well hovering of course. (crop of image taken with D60 and 18-200 lens and downsized - too much by the look of it - lots of noise)

I have another attack of masonry bees. I hate myself for doing so, but I kill these as they pulling several cups of cement out of one part of the house every year. There are quite interesting, being solitary bees with black and white stripes.

Very nice photographs. My gardening wife saw a European wasp dragging away a tarantula spider today. Amazing.
