My wife has an Italian friend who heard about our prize cache of duck eggs from Thygocanberra, and she wanted to make pasta with them so we happily gave her two duck eggs.
The pasta was a success, and the Italian family thought the pasta made from duck eggs was richer and nicer. We were treated to some of this home made 'duck' pasta, and we found it silkier than egg pasta and very scrummy indeed.
We are glad that you liked the eggs.
The ducks seem to be going of the lay ...
though some are continuing to 'hold on' until they get outside and finding new places to 'hide' their eggs.
And one muscovy is very clucky and dutifully sitting on an empty nest and chasing all the other ducks.
