I have enabled attack designation during the offensive fire phase. Basically, you can click on Persian units and you will see a list of targets they can fire on (based on range, line of sight, and of course missile ability). If you click on the target bullet item (the text, not the actual target, but that is coming), a red arrow appears showing the attack. On the right (at the bottom), you see the odds of the attack. If you click on a different bullet, the first attack is cancelled. In the picture above, two Persian archers gang up on a Greek archer to get 2:1 odds.
Next will be a "resolve attacks" button that will eliminate or disrupt the Greeks. "Fighting in the shade" is a possible but unlikely option.
I wonder what a Thermopylae scenario would look like. Prestags already has a rule that class A and B units cannot be disrupted if on a slope. We will need a cliff too, to funnel the Persians into a killing zone. PS stacks 4, MS stacks 3 and Persians have hordes stacked 2. And lots of totally useless cavalry. This will be Paul's dream scenario against me as he hates my Alexander-of-Macedon's use of cavalry.
Looking better and better.
