Toy Soldiers

I notice that Peter Nathan Toy Soldiers, in his small shop on the top floor of the Queen Victoria Building (QVB), has some nice Australian Light Horse on display in the front window.

I took a quick snap on my mobile phone when I walked past at lunchtime.

Notwithstanding that "toy soldiers" are described as "elite military miniatures", it has always amazed me how this little shop survives amongst all the top end fashion shops in the QVB where the rent must be out of this world. I have done my bit by purchasing most of the confederate generals over the years, and PythonMagus has been known to make some purchases.
